White Ceramic Dish Decorated with Leaves, Made in Czechoslovakia

$ 20.00

A glossy white ceramic dish made in Czechoslovakia featuring both sides decorated with an embossed leaf design.  The dish measures 6" long, 2 1/4" wide, and 2 1/4" high.  The bottom is marked "Made in Chechoslovakia" and impressed with the mold number "7838."  There is a small chip to the right underside, which is not noticeable when upright.  Otherwise, this piece is in beautiful condition.

The name "Czechoslovakia" was first used as a mark in 1918 on glass, porcelain and ceramics.  After Czechoslovakia split into Slovakia and the Czech Republic in 1993, the name sometimes continued to be used in some trademarks.

This would make a lovely letter holder for outgoing mail...or to hold a cell phone...
