W.A. Painter Pottery Works (Kansas, USA) Ceramic Dip Chiller with Crab Decoration

A ceramic dip cooler (or warmer) featuring two bowls accented by a blue rim and rendering of a crab.  By placing ice and water in the bottom bowl dips and salsa stay cold for 3 to 4 hours, or by bringing water to a boil in bottom bowl sauces or butter can be kept warm.  The bowls measure 6" across and 4 1/2" high.  The bottoms are marked with "W.A. Painter Pottery Works, Kansas City, USA."  The condition of both bowls is very good, with no chips, cracks, or hint of use.
