"Pinky" the flamingo Beanie Baby has a hot pink body, lighter pink floppy legs, orange bill, and glossy black and gray plastic eyes. Pinky was born on February 12, 1995, introduced on June 3, 1995, and retired on December 31, 1998. Pinky rests on its bottom, is filled with polyester fiber and P.E. pellets, and measures 6" wide across the extended wings, 6 1/2" long, and is 10 1/2" tall. The 5th generation swing tag is attached and is in good condition but with a tiny area of very faint impression marks near the "t" and a tiny, singular 1/4" "wear" line along the crease. The 6th generation tush tag is in good condition and the flamingo is in pristine condition.
Pinky loves the everglades
From the hottest pink she's made
With floppy legs and big orange beak
She's the Beanie that you seek !
Beanie Babies are a line of PVC pellet-filled toys created by Ty Warner in 1991, reached their peak in popularity in mid-1990s, and ceased operations in December 1999. Due to popular demand, Ty Inc. restarted in 2000 with a Beanie Baby named "The Beginning." The nine original Beanie Babies released in 1994:
Beanie Babies have two identification tags: the heart-shaped swing tag, and the fabric tush tag attached to the bottom. Over time, the tags were redesigned to include poems inside the heart tag, date of birth, font changes, and the addition of yellow stars. These changes are referred to as Tush and Heart tag "Generations," and there are currently 15 swing tag generations and 13 tush tag generations. Some tags contain spelling and date errors which can lend greater value to the Beanie Baby.
