E.C. Bentley, 'Trent's Last Case,' published by Avon Books, a division of The Hearst Corporation, first published in 1913, this copy is the first Avon printing of January, 1970.
Trent's Last Case is a 221 page paperback measuring 7" x 4 1/4". The cover has some creases down the spine. Inside, the pages are tanning but otherwise clean and unmarked with tight binding. The condition is very good.
Sigbee Manderson was dead and few people cared. The millionaire financier was detested by men of power and ruthlessness. Suspects were not hard to find--they were too plentiful. A beautiful and remorseless woman breaks down under questioning, the most likely suspect has an airtight alibi, and Trent himself abandons the case--and refuses to publish his findings!
