Limoges (France) Made for B. Altman & Co. Porcelain Fruit Shaped Candy or Trinket Dish with Blue Flowers and Gilded Edges

A fruit-shaped porcelain dish decorated in the center with a hand-painted bouquet of blue flowers and finished with a heavily gilded rim made in Limoges, France, for B. Altman & Co.  The dish measures 5 1/2" wide, 5 3/4" long, and 1 1/4" high.  The bottom is marked with the green Marque Deposee mark and the words "For B. Altman & Co."  The condition of the dish is pristine, with no chips, cracks, scratches, or hint of use.
