Heavy Earthenware Jar with Maroon and Green Glazes

A solid, heavy, thick-walled earthenware vessel with a duo of green and maroon glazes washed over the natural clay base.  The jar measures 6" high, 6" wide, and weighs nearly 5 pounds.  The initial of the maker is inscribed on the bottom and the condition is good.  Small natural pitting noted on side.
