Hand Woven Blue Painted Basket with Decoratively Carved Cat

A unique handmade basket featuring a round and square base with crosshatched pattern reinforced with strong thin slats of wood painted a light blue.  The top of the basket has a carved wood white cat.  The basket measures 12" across, 13" tall, the maker is unknown, and the condition is very good.
